In recognition of the significance of fostering a platform for open dialogue between the governing Authority and the Civil Society Organizations, the Authority-CSOs meet was organized on December 13^th, 2024 in Terma Linca Resort & Spa, Thimphu. The forum represents shared commitment to strengthening collaboration, enhancing mutual understanding and ensuring collective efforts to yield greater impacts. The main objectives of the meeting included deepening the understanding of each other’s roles and challenges, strategically planning and aligning efforts, strengthening partnerships and exploring innovative solutions to address pressing challenges in the sector. The meeting was graced by the Hon'ble Chairperson of the Authority, His Excellency Lyonpo Tshering, Ministry of Home Affairs. Additionally representatives from 41 CSOs also actively participated during the meet. The event was co-funded by Helvetas Bhutan, IDEA International, Bhutan Transparency Initiative and Bhutan Centre for Media and Democracy.
