
The inaugural Annual CSOs Summit was convened in Punakha from February 6th to 7th, 2025. The Summit sensitized the CSO Sector with a comprehensive presentation by the Cabinet Secretariat outlining the 13th FYP, with the intention of streamlining CSOs’ activities and aligning them with the Government’s initiatives. Additionally, the Summit fostered enhanced collaboration between the Government and CSOs, facilitating interactions with the Cabinet Secretariat to explore the potential utilization of the Nu. 300 million Grant provided by the GoI-PTA. The Summit also included group discussions and networking opportunities among CSOs and their respective thematic groups, enabling the identification of collaborative areas both within the sector and with the Government.
Additionally, CSOs discussed and reviewed the draft CSOs Meet Guidelines and CSOs Media Engagement Framework.
Participated by 35 CSOs, the Summit provided a valuable platform for the CSO Sector to unite and initiate a coordinated effort to realize the nation’s broader aspirations.
