Mr. Needrup Zangpo, Executive Director of Bhutan Media Foundation was elected a fresh eminent member of the Authority on 03/12/2020. He secured 25 votes which was the highest and the second candidate Ms. Phuntshok Choden Tshering, Executive Director of Bhutan Network for Empowering Women had secured 15 votes. 

Of the 41 registered representatives from amongst the CSOs one did not turn up to cast vote.
